History of the Franjo Corporation

Joseph Leonello Sr. began in the construction industry in 1956. In 1986, after thirty years as a trade journeyman, Joseph founded FRANJO Construction. It was Joseph's desire to build a company that incorporated his personal commitment to quality construction with dependability and integrity.

As the company grew, sons Frank and Joseph Jr. worked with their father during their high school and college years and were taught the important lessons of hard work and attention to detail.

Both Frank and Joseph Jr. went on to work for major Pittsburgh-based firms and rejoined their father to take FRANJO Construction to the next level. Incorporated in 1997, FRANJO Construction combines the energetic enthusiasm of its young partners, with the market-tested experience of the 19 years the firm has been in existence.

FRANJO Construction offers a variety of construction delivery services -- from general contracting, to construction management, to design-build, whatever meets the needs of our clients. At FRANJO Construction we view ourselves as a full service contractor. We have the ability to not only manage construction projects, but we have in-house forces to provide full interior construction, renovations, or adaptive reuse.
